Lynne was born and raised in Massachusetts.  She graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor's degree in business and finance and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.  

Attorney Walder is an active member of a number of professional organizations including The Florida Bar Association and The St. Petersburg Bar Association.  She was admitted to the State of Florida Supreme Court in 1994, to the US District Court, Middle District of Florida, in 1995 and to the United States Supreme Court in 2004.
